Belén's 1st Annual Community Event

for parents and guardians

of Belén's children

On SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23, Belén Consolidated Schools is hosting a one-day event at Belén High School for the community. The event will focus on providing a variety of informative and interesting workshops to help parents and guardians learn about different ways to help their children succeed in school. It will be a wonderful opportunity for community members to come together to listen, learn, and socialize.

Information on a variety of topics such as keeping children healthy and fit, talking about difficult topics, eating disorders, understanding No Child Left Behind, the drug culture, Internet safety and much more will be provided to all who attend.

We have partnered with the Community Center to offer free childcare for children 4-13, and the District is providing a FREE hot enchilada lunch to the first 200 registrants. We are also providing workshops in Spanish to ensure that all families have access to the information provided.

We will have an informational exhibit area, and all district schools will be creating a display to showcase what makes their school unique in our community.

Door prize drawings will be throughout the day and the grand prize (one night's stay at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Spain Albuquerque) will be drawn during the 3:30-4:00 pm exhibit time.

Come spend a day learning how to help your child succeed in school!

Free totebags and lunch will go to the first 200 people who pre register.
