Q:  When/Where is the Conference

A. The conference is Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 16, 2009.  There are also preconference workshops being held on Tuesday, April 14.  The conference is being held at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

 

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Q:  How do I contact a "live" person for registration help and information?

A:  Please contact the Head to Toe Registration Office at (505) 266-3451 or toll free (866) 219-4582.  The Conference Office is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Mountain Time, excluding holidays.

Q: What is the cost to attend?

A:  There are a number of different pricing options, depending on the number of days you want to attend, for details, please CLICK HERE .

Q: I just registered online, when will I receive my receipt and confirmation?

A: You should receive a confirmation within 10 minutes of registering. The confirmation will provide you with a link to your registration record and the option of printing an invoice or receipt.

Q: I just received an email from your office saying that I am not officially registered.  I am confused, I have a confirmation.

Online registration without payment does NOT secure your registration or the early bird rate.  If you selected payment by check or purchase order, please be aware that all payments must be received by the Conference Office no later than April 6, 2009 in order to apply the payment to your registration.  If you are unable to meet this deadline, please pay by credit card by accessing your registration and changing the payment method to credit card.  Thank you.

Q: I have forgotten my password, how do I get back into my records

A: Go to the online registration page, enter your e-mail address, click the “I forgot my password” link. Click the Send It button. You will receive an email containing a newly generated password for this username.

Q: I need to make changes to my registration, how can I do this?

A: Go to the online registration page, enter your e-mail address and password. This will take you to your registration and will ask you what changes you would like to make. Click on the area you would like to make changes, i.e. print invoice, change sessions, etc.

Q:Where can I mail my registration payment?

MEALS

Q:What meals are included in the conference registration fee?

A continental breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided both days of the conference.  The preconference workshop fees cover the cost of beverage service and a snack.

Q:If I don’t attend the meals, may I get a portion of my registration fee returned?

A: There are no refunds on conference meals.


Q:I’m a vegetarian or I have a special diet I need to follow.  How can I obtain a special diet request?

A: When you register you will have the opportunity to indicate your special diet request.  When you check in at the conference you will be given a meal ticket that reflects this request to give to your server.

LOGISTICS

Q:Who is eligible for free parking and how do you get it?

A: All registered participants will receive a $6 reimbursement for each day you have registered for the conference. To receive your reimbursement, all you will need to do is present either your receipt, if you are in a pay as you enter facility, or your parking ticket that was given to you when you entered the facility, to the conference registration desk during the times posted in the conference program. (Reimbursement can not be given during peak registration or CEU processing times.) You may park wherever you wish, but you must present a receipt or ticket.

Q:When is check-in/check out at the hotels?

A: Check in is at 3:00 pm and check out is at 12 noon.

Q: Does the convention center allow pets?

A: All live animals are prohibited, with the exception of guide and service animals.

 

OTHER QUESTIONS

Q: Can I bring my child to Head to Toe?

A: There will not be any on-site child care services at the conference.  Due to safety concerns, and the fact that the content presented in not always appropriate for children, no one under the age of 12 (including infants in strollers) are allowed unless registered conference attendees.

Q:  Is there a location in the convention center were I can nurse in a private room?

A: Nursing mothers may find privacy in the staff lounge.  There is also a lounge in the restrooms on the lower level of the east side of the convention center by registration.

Q: American with Disabilities Act - How can I request assistance

A: If you require special assistance, auxiliary aids, interpreters or other reasonable accommodations while at the conference, please contact Kelly Willems at (505) 266-3451 at least two weeks prior to the event date.

Q:  Is there internet access at the conference?

A:  The convention center offers free wireless internet access in the atrium.  As this is a service provided by the facility, the conference organizers can not guarantee the functioning of the system nor can provide technical support
