This training is offered at no cost to participants by the New Mexico Department of Health. The course addresses the role of the School Health Assistant in a Coordinated School Health program and meets the (one-time) training requirement for Public Education Department School Health Assistant licensure. Participants will acquire the basic knowledge needed to work as a School Health Assistant, under the supervision of a licensed school nurse.
You must register to attend. Participants must be present for the entire training on both days in order to receive a certificate of attendance.
