Kesselman-Jones in the Community
We’re a small business with a big business mentality, and we’ve set high standards for the role we serve in our community. Our Corporate Citizenship Program helps make the community we live and work in stronger, by giving back to those in need.
The Kesselman-Jones Corporate Citizenship Program is multifaceted:
- All employees receive two paid days off annually to assist local charities of their choice.
- Each year we provide pro bono event management services for one non-profit organization that we select.
- We collectively support a variety of one-time community service projects throughout the year.
- We make charitable donations representing a percentage of our profits.
Since the program’s inception in 2009, our staff has donated more than 900 hours of volunteer time to organizations such as the Animal Humane Association, Roadrunner Food Bank, the Ronald McDonald House, Girls on the Run, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Our first pro-bono project for PBJ Family Services in Albuquerque raised $18,000 for the organization, enough to take five families off of their waiting list!
In 2012, our Corporate Citizenship Program was recognized at a special presentation honoring New Mexico’s top 100 privately owned companies.
