This training is offered at no cost to participants by the New Mexico Department of Health. This course addresses the role of the School Health Assistant in a Coordinated School Health program, and meets the (one-time) training requirement for Public Education Department School Health Assistant licensure. Participants will acquire the basic knowledge needed to work as a School Health Assistant, under the supervision of a licensed school nurse.
